Dreaming and The Arts

Curanderismo and Nahualismo in the Arts

The landscape of dreaming is parallel with the imaginal realm of the arts.  Projects blending elements of Curanderismo, Nahualismo, and the arts are my specialty. Topics of creative inquiry include:

  • intuitive physical theatre and dance, a theatre of dreaming

  • working with the senses and the elements of ritual in theatre

  • workshops on intuitive processes in theatre making, speaking to the unconscious

  • The Old Winds project, a guided process for finding and healing our influential ancestral traumas

  • poetry, channeling, and the mythic

  • clearing the Aires through art making

  • honoring rites of passage and the seasonal shifts

  • a deep investigation of the art of storytelling and mysticism encoded in myth
